Southeast Toyota Distributors Vehicle Processing Facility

December 2018 - Groundbreaking is underway on a new 350,000 square-foot vehicle processing facility for Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC, a subsidiary of JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC is the world’s largest independent distributor of Toyota vehicles that distributes vehicles, parts and accessories to 177 Toyota dealerships across multiple states. The $90 million project located in Commerce, Georgia will include a new vehicle processing facility that will improve operational efficiency and add amenities for its employees like a nature trail, health and wellness center, and an enhance café, as well as many additional features.

Columbia Engineering is proud to provide general consulting services, erosion control expertise, local permitting through Jackson County and Georgia EPD, and complete field surveying services for the 289-acre site. Columbia Engineering worked diligently with England-Thims and Miller, Inc. based out of Jacksonville, Florida to develop design drawings for this exciting new facility. Along with design and permitting of the facility, Columbia is supporting JE Dunn Construction throughout the construction phase to assist with erosion and sedimentation control on the site with the goal of minimizing impacts to the surrounding landscapes.
