Overbend Trail, Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources

This project included installation of proposed six-barrel 10’x12’ RCP, which will be the largest culvert installed by Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources, and the raising of Overbend Trail by 4’ to carry Level Creek without over topping for the 100-year storm. The culvert services a one-way-in, one-way-out neighborhood which was over topping an average of once every two years.

Over topping prevented access in and out of the neighborhood. Throughout construction, an onsite detour was designed to allow for two lanes of traffic to remain open at all times.
