Mabry Road Drainage Improvement

Some of the homes along Mabry Road in Sandy Springs, GA were experiencing flooding. Columbia Engineering developed an existing conditions hydraulic and hydrologic model to analyze the flooding reported.

Concept level plans were developed to present the client with multiple options to mitigate current flooding. Final construction plans will consist of 1,545 feet of 48-60” reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) laid within the right-of-way and 95 feet of 18-40” RCP connecting catch basins and yard inlets to the mainline.
