The McIntosh Parkway Project consisted of 0.4 miles of existing roadway widening and reconstruction along with 1 mile total of new roadway construction utilizing two 11’ lanes with curb and gutter and an arterial section with a 16’ raised median, 4 -11’ lanes, curb and gutter to connect downtown Newnan with Ashley Park shopping area. The project included roundabout intersection design at the crossing of McIntosh Parkway and Greison Trail. It also included an 8-foot concrete sidewalk and asphalt shared-use path, three new bridge culverts, utility coordination, a closed drainage system, intersection realignments, striping and signing, erosion control, and comprehensive monitoring plans.
