Tiger Point Pavilion is a newly developed, 16-acre Publix anchored shopping center adjacent to Walmart Supercenter, Lowe’s and Walgreen’s.  The Site fronts Tiger Point Country Club and has an average daily traffic count of 34,000 cars per day. The ribbon cutting for the project took place on January 18, 2018.

Columbia Engineering and Services, Inc. provided civil engineering services for this project.  Project challenges included shallow groundwater, extensive wetland avoidance and minimization, complex stormwater quality and quantity design to meet FDOT / Santa Rosa County / Northwest Florida Water Management District requirements, FDOT access concerns, lift station and off-site force main, and constrained areas for utility installation and vehicle circulation/access.  Successful project design and permitting required careful coordination among multiple local, state, and federal jurisdictions as well as multi-discipline team coordination (geotechnical, structural, environmental, lift station, traffic, and ecologist).
